"Sketching for a Cause"




























































































































Wednesday, Cipriani 42nd Street will be the scene of El Museo's Gala. Ruben Toledo sketched 68 portraits that will be sold for $500 each and will benefit the Museum's Classroom Connections Program as well as the Amber Charter School in East Harlem. This year's bash will honor Gloria and Emilio Estefan, Ford Foundation President Luis Ubinas and Tony-Award winning composer and lyricist Lin-Manuel Miranda. Aside from pooling underage artists, Toledo is also chairing the festivities with his wife and yaz and Valentin Hernandez. Featured are some of the sketches created by Ruben Toledo.
