Full-On Glam: Roksanda Ilincic Fall RTW 2010

This glam collection, which had a Seventies feel, marked another refined outing for Ilincic, who draped her models in slinky satin, lame and luxe wool.

Silk, calf-length dresses that swathed the body came in forest green, hot pink or eggplant. The designer also embellished tailored wool dresses with silver foil flowers or oversized sequins, while outerwear came in the form of a gray fur gilet or a snug, full-length black wool coat.

Now this, this is my kind of collection.......glamorous, feminine and beautifully detailed. Each piece is a sight to behold. The satin pieces with the asymmetrical draping are resplendent, as are the dresses accented with sequined flowers and beading. This definitely one of the seasons best!
