Vogue Talents Award's winner at ITS: Mark Goldenberg

The special shooting dedicated to the Vogue Talents winner at ITS 2012.

The designer and the collection: Mark Goldenberg, the 28 year old Israeli fashion designer currently resides in Tel-Aviv and graduated from Shenkar College of Engineering, Art and Design. His "Woven Bird" collection shown here, inspired by the wire sculptures of russian artist Naum Gabo, is entirely handmade by himself. He began with a simple silhouette of thin metallic wires, which he than used as the external skeleton and sewed the garment over it, as if it were made of slim muscles and feathers growing around the bone. Having recently worked alongside Diane Von Furstenberg in New York, and with plans to break into the industry, Goldenberg is now hoping to receive an offer from a fashion house that appreciates his unique approach to garments and fashion design.
